“Moving to ELSD was the best decision I could have made for my daughter. She began dancing at ELSD aged 4½ where she was nurtured by their excellent teaching faculty and given countless opportunities to progress with her passion for dance. During her time at ELSD she took part in dance school productions, danced in the Nutcracker with Northern Ballet Theatre and performed in several pantomimes. She gained Distinctions in all her dance exams including her DDE Ballet teaching qualification. She also successfully took part in ISTD ballet awards and the ISTD modern awards.
She became a Junior Associate with both the Royal Ballet and Elmhurst Ballet School. From this opportunity she was able to gain a scholarship and place at Elmhurst Ballet School where she continued her dance training until returning to ELSD to complete her teaching certificate.”

“Miss Naomi, from ELSD, has been teaching dance classes at our setting since February 2022. She works with children aged 2- 4 year-olds. Her classes are fun and exciting the children really look forward to them each week. She incorporates lots of different educational aspects into them such as colour, shape and numbers also positional language. The benefits of the physical development alongside personal and social support the EYFS curriculum and are invaluable to their development. She has a kind and caring nature and addresses children on their level, often rewarding children. She is very supportive of children who have additional needs.”
